An initial client meeting is free (up to 2 hours). During the meeting we would discuss your requirements, get background information prior to agreeing to work together, and agree terms and conditions. Once a job is agreed and initiated (in writing - email is acceptable), client meetings will be charged at the standard hourly rate. A small administration fee will be charged for each job initiated.

If required meeting notes can be taken. A meeting report will then be prepared and emailed to client within 24 hours of the meeting (and billed according to time taken).

Travel costs are charged as extra to any client meetings/errands. Travels costs include my time (charged at the standard hourly rate). In addition, 50p per round trip mile will be charged for travel by car - rail or taxi fares will be invoiced at cost. 24 hours notice is preferred for cancellation of a meeting appointment. If travel and time costs have already been incurred they will be billed.

All work will be charged at the standard hourly or daily rate. Half of the agreed project price is required before any design work is started. The other half is due on completion of the job or within 3 months of the onset of the project - whichever is sooner.

Urgent jobs may incur double rates and are accepted or rejected at the discretion of SSD.

Print quotes are given at cost from the printer. However, an account handling fee may be charged for liasing with the printer once the print quote is accepted and the job progresses. This charge is worked out using the standard hourly rate plus any travel costs.

Large jobs may require staged payments. This will be made clear in any initial quote.
